I first encountered Helix Studios through Jeff Sterne's Spanking series. My first thought then was, "Who would not want a rosy red arse to brighten one's day?" The downside is that such themes aren't for everyone, but dig deeper and you'll find out that Helix has several stunning surprises up their sleeves.

What's particularly striking for me is Helix's style. They can put a twist on an old and tired idea and make it appear fresh. Perhaps it is because of their clear faced twinks but I think it has more to do with their lighthearted approach to porn.

As I mentioned, there are lots more in Helix' bag of goodies but what takes the cake are the Spank This series – particularly those movies featuring TJ Wood. The chap is an absolute treat. He can be funny and kinky without even trying. In my opinion, he was able to truly exercise his wit when he donned a priest garb on Twink Confessions. While viewing the clips online, I was thinking, 'Wow, this movie can be a smart parody on the controversies that's rocking the Church.' But luckily, Helix does not take itself that seriously and steers clear from that.

Anways, to get further acquainted with Helix, you can go to your nearest adult video shop or click through other DVD libraries on the net but the best way to go about your exploration is through the studio's site itself. Featured here are other niches and/or studios that make Helix quirky and unique.

Content can be sorted through several methods (by type of action/theme or movie title) but I preferred sifting through the models roster. From there, I was able to get a quick view of the boys that typically populate Helix videos and may I say, that there's no set of types.
